Concept Development & Licensing Ltd (CDL)
CDL is a micro-company performing project leadership and consultancy in sustainable technology. It has been involved in a wide range of projects and studies, working with partners internationally with a particular emphasis on sustainability of seas and oceans.
CDL’s involvement in ground heat began in 1997 when it led a project to demonstrate and monitor ground source heat pump applications in domestic buildings, working alongside the Building Services Research and Information Association (BSRIA).
The founder, Jonathan Williams, is a chartered engineer with a PhD in fluid mechanics from Imperial College.
Bioheat is a long established company with a solid reputation for providing the best solutions in biomass heating in South West England, as well as solutions using ground source heat pumps.
Technical Director Simon Hawkins is a qualified Mechanical Engineer who lives and breathes everything renewable heat. Simon has more than 15 years’ experience in the heating industry and is passionate about renewable and energy efficient heating for homes and businesses. Prior to Bioheat, Simon spent time in the Aerospace Industry and in the Military.
ABC Anchors was established in 1999 by sister company Autoguide Equipment Ltd. A deal was struck with AB Chance via Hubbell in the USA to launch Pisa Anchors in the UK. This involved the supply of stay anchors for electricity poles to Utility Boards, as well as the ability to manufacture under licence in the UK.
ABC Anchors continues to expand into the contract and domestic market, with screw anchors becoming the 21st century alternative for foundation work.
In 2005 we developed our Handheld Anchor Installer which is a very popular machine in our hire fleet. It is mainly used on underpinning jobs, and sites with limited access.
SEI is a foundation registered under Swedish law with offices in seven countries. We are led by the Board and Executive Director, supported by advisory bodies. Our mandate, vision, approach and values are derived from the Stockholm Declaration on the Human Environment, adopted in 1972.
SEI Africa is based in Nairobi, Kenya and is hosted by the World Agroforestry Centre. The centre collaborates with African governments, organizations and networks, acting as a hub for SEI’s engagement across the continent. The centre’s work focuses on four key areas: energy and climate; natural resources and ecosystems; sustainable urbanisation; and health and environment.
